Week 2- Eclispe Talula Rouge
Here is week 2. I tried bead embroidery for the first time.
With the theme Eclipse, I didn’t want to go for moons or suns. I wanted to go with the colors of night instead. The focal cab I made from polyclay. I used black and grey transparent 11/0 seed beads. I also have 8mm grey cat’s eye beads, black labradorite, faceted glass beads, and metal beads. I guess this piece would have worked just as well for week 3′s mixed media!! LOL
I don’t know why this made me think of Phantom of the opera, but it did…perhaps it’s the lady of the night connotation….anyway, beautiful piece!

I had fun working on it. Interesting to try a new technique. I am still considering doing a cuff.
Now to figure out what to do for week 3.
Your focal cab is amazing and the colors and shine you achieved in the clay are perfect for the theme!
