Rose Ring – Week 8 – Sandy @ SCJJewelryDesign
I’m making a series of things using these sterling silver roses that I’ve made from fine silver scalloped bezel wire. The ring shank has a strip of double half round and then I’ve soldered 2 stacking rings on the outsides to make the band wider. LOS patina. More photos in my etsy shop here.

What a great way to use the scalloped wire! It’s so pretty and feminine without being “fluffy”.
I agree – I would have never thought of using scalloped wire in that way but it makes a very lovely rose. The wide band makes it less ‘soft’, which I think is great.
so sweet and delicate!
I love your rose ring and I also never would have though of scalloped bezel wire or even to use the double 1/2 wire for the shank. The patina helps to set off the design as well.
