Week 8 – Sweet Violets – Bonnie Schilder
Last year I designed a bracelet that I liked a lot and have been playing with the design using different kinds and sizes of beads ever since. This is the latest, done with 8mm faceted fire polished rounds and 8/0, 10/0, 11/0 and 13/0 charlotte seed beads. I wanted the charlottes for their sparkle and hue, but I couldn’t figure out how to increase (square stitch) them smoothly so I’m not too happy with result. Back to the drawing board…
