YOJ-06/12 – Pink & Pearl – by Cleopatra Kerckhof

The combination of white pearls and rose quartz always makes me think of love and blushing brides.

A bit of romance between sea and earth. :)

  1. Cleo…your pieces are just sooo lovely always. You know, I have been wanting to try my hand at a peacock for ages now, but I feel the same way as you did when you made the sea horse (thinking of Pippi). LOL! When I see a peacock, I first think of you, and its almost as if all peacocks are now copyrighted to you. LOL! It was your brass peacock piece that had introduced me to your work…I had even shared it with people…I was so impressed with it. Even though this piece is not a peacock, it still is very very lovely!! Will you be making a peacock anytime soon? A white one? Do you remember that picture I had posted of a white peacock, and had asked you if you would make one based on that? :-))))

So pretty and delicate Cleo, and rose quartz is a favorite of mine too.

  4. Thank you!

I don’t ‘own’ peacocks, Swati!. It would be so lovely to see one of yours!.
I made a white and blue one quite a while ago, and one copper one with diferent colors (both in my shop). Last year one of my customers asked for a sterling one and she named him ‘Michael’. :)

    • LOL! I know….but somehow in my mind all the peacocks of this world are copyrighted to you :-P. Which reminds me…I haven’t seen any peacock by you for a while…I’ll go check your store and see if there is one. They are too lovely!
